Description
Nucleus and Strongman were veterans of the Korean War, and the conflict left them changed in mind and body: they discovered they had superpowers!
They decided to become the world’s first superheroes just in time, because another young man discovered he had powers of his own. Donner, the son of Nazi war criminals, wants to pick up where his parents left off, and only the world’s new heroes can stop him!
“This is a very well-written book [that] had a steady build-up that made me eager for the introduction of Donner. … The dialogue was realistic, and the German characters used some German words. There were scenes that dealt with family reactions to superheroes in general and to finding out that their family member is a superhero, and also scenes dealing with a loved [one’s] dislike of superheroes. … The author also did a fantastic job of describing events and people. I was easily able to imagine the scenes like they were happening in a movie.” -Online Book Club, starred review
